Traditional hymns for weddings are out of the faith of Christianity and consist of lovely words and lyrics to enjoy at the ceremony.

The most popular wedding hymns of praise and worship include “All Things Bright and Beautiful”, “Lord of All Hopefulness”, “Jerusalem” and “Praise My Soul the King of Heaven”.

They are traditional pieces of music that are beautifully written, enriching and are typically used to help involve the guests in the wedding service so they feel involved.

Wedding hymns are not essential as part of the marriage ceremony but it does add an increased level of spiritual meaning. And music always helps to create an atmosphere and set the tone to the wedding.

Normally, three hymns are chosen as part of the ceremony for at the beginning, middle and end to put everyone in a great mood and make the day memorable.

So pick your hymns carefully and personalise your wedding to your taste; put a smile on everyone’s face.
